File format investigation
Within today's lesson, we have been introduced to a powerpoint about file formats which are used on the web and within print within media. I have learnt furthermore about the file formats JPEG, TIFF, GIF and EPS and there advantages and disadvantages, we also discussed about the use of different colours with web and print of CMYK and RGB and what format they're ideal for. I have also learnt about different channels of pixels for example, 8-bit of low resolution and 16-bit which is high resolution and is ideal for printing. I am now writing a report into the different file formats and there uses with there disadvantages and advantages, the use of colours for printing and the ideal colour for printing and for web design.
